Kanye West is back in action with a new track released today on his G.O.O.D. Music blog.
“Mama’s Boyfriend” was first heard by the world when Mr. West performed it a capella, standing on top of a table at the offices of Facebook. That somewhat awkward run-through has blossomed into a stellar studio track. Complete with horns, strings, and a great piano hook, it’s a forceful swipe at shitty boyfriends. And you can dance to it.
While “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” was heavy and larger than life, this track may be a preview to a more down-to-earth follow up.
