Leave it to Morrissey to start a fight with his own fans.

The famed singer and ex-Smiths man recently took the stage for an encore donning a “Fuck Morrissey-Solo.com” t-shirt. The reason? The original Moz fansite has been giving the singer’s new material negative reviews.

According to The Guardian, Morrissey-Solo.com has criticized Morrisey‘s “stagnant” new material, saying he “desperately needs a new backing band.” Moz’s backing band also wore the t-shirts onstage, by the way.

Naturally, the singer’s normal reaction was to taunt his own fansite in the very public setting of a Morrissey show.
