While many of you may be mourning the loss of the tenth doctor on the BBC’s belovedly campy Doctor Who, David Tennant is back in a big way. Taking the lead role in the film version of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 2008 production of “Hamlet,” he stars alongside Patrick Stewart in what can best be described as Halo meets Hamlet meets a Time Lord. It aired on PBS on Wednesday night but is now available for your free viewing pleasure on the station’s site. It is a version for both Shakespeare lovers and scifi buffs alike and makes good use of Tennant’s penchant for wit, as well as Stewart’s superbly Claudius styled balding.
