“The Death of You and Me” is the first track we’ve heard from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Noel Gallagher’s solo album, “High Flying Birds,” is set to drop in October, and the former Oasis guitarist has just released the lead video from the record, “The Death of You and Me.” The track itself is fairly straightforward, lilting rock with a hint of country and a horn section somewhere in the middle. It’s not a bad effort from this half of the dueling Gallagher brotherhood.

The video shows an unhappy waitress leaving her job and joining up with some traveling musicians that come by the restaurant. It ends with a “to be continued,” so there may be more to the story with Noel’s next single. Check it out below.
