Hear the latest edition of the Radiohead remix series.
Jamie xx’s remix of Radiohead’s “Bloom” first appeared on his Essential Mix a few weeks ago, but now it’s available for streaming on its own after Thom Yorke played it while co-hosting on BBC Radio 1. The version is a sort of ghostly take on the “King of Limbs” track, and a good example of how sometimes less is more when it comes to remixing.
“Bloom” appears on the latest edition of the “King of Limbs” remix series, and will be on the final compilation, “TKOL RMX 1234567,” which comes out October 11 in North America (October 10 in the UK). Radiohead will play “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, “The Colbert Report” on Monday and two New York shows next week.
