No, The Vice President of Live Nation Can’t Get You Radiohead Tickets

Just in case you were wondering.

Right now tickets are going on sale for Radiohead’s shows in NYC this week at Roseland Ballroom, which means that you are probably scrambling to hit the “refresh” button at Ticketmaster fast enough to give yourself carpal tunnel syndrome.

Just in case you were wondering whether this is the right thing to be doing—it is. If you’re wondering if there’s some easier way to get tickets, there isn’t. We tried. Even if you know somebody really high up at Live Nation, they won’t be able to get you tickets. See below.

Best of luck in your quest. But let’s be honest, since it’s probably not going to happen, we’re at least including videos of Radiohead’s SNL performance this weekend. If you plug in headphones and squint, you’ll almost feel like you’re there.

Alex, I got a ticket. How much do you think I could scalp it for?

does anyone know—am I able to transfer the ticket to someone else? Or am I the only person that can be admitted with the ticket?

Come on! You never went to a bar with a fake id?

You sell a ticket on eBay and ask extra $500 to borrow your ID for a night. You wait for the person after the show to get your ID back, if they fail to show up you keep $500.

Not scalpable so I hear. Unless you bring the person you scalped your other ticket to lol You pick it up at will call and it is ripped the moment you walk away from the will call window…Thank you Radiohead for stopping the BS :-)

    Lucky Girl…..Lucky Bid……..   : ))  …..
I just got a $827.89 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HTV for only $251.92, they are both coming tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://alturl.com/9spyb

What a joke Ticketmaster is; forced to use a system that can’t even sell tickets right. I logged on before the 8am sale and it was until 8:07am that I was even able to put in for tickets–7 minutes AFTER the actual sale start time. I kept refreshing from 7:59am until the page populated at 8:07am when I could put in for the 2 tickets, but by that time, I figured they were already gone. Sad, sad, and sadder that the real/true Radiohead fans get screwed and the scalpers or IT scammers got away with concert ticket murder. I guarantee most “fans” couldn’t even name a song earlier than Hail to the Thief’ with the lone exception of Creep which was one of their most popular songs when they first came onto the scene. FU ticketmaster.
