They went out there to make a statement of protest, not show off their pretty Dress Blues uniform.
And ALSO if you knew anything about military service, you’re realize that since it’s COLD in NYC right now, BDUs are more appropriate for the situation and can be worn with more respect for their own uniform and the service that earned the right to wear it.
