Hear a new track off his upcoming EP.

Folk-fuzz-rocker Kurt Vile has a new EP, “So Outta Reach,” coming out next month, and he’s released a track from it for streaming. “Life’s a Beach” is one of five original songs on the EP and is left over from the recording sessions for his recent album, “Smoke Ring for My Halo.”

“So Outta Reach” will also feature Vile covering Bruce Springsteen’s “Downbound Train.” The stream of “Life’s a Beach” is below, and the EP tracklist is after that. The EP will come out November 8 on Matador.
