William Shatner Covers ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ [Video]

Nothing. Reallymatters. Anyone. Can. See. Nothing. Reallymatters. To. Me.

Aside from obvious nerdy “Star Trek” reasons, I appreciate William Shatner because he is completely aware that he is ridiculous and has basically made a second career out of parodying himself. Also, he kind of looks like my dad. They even share an apparent love of old hard rock songs, as evidenced by Shatner’s album “Seeking Major Tom.”

We’ve already seen the Shat-man in the studio recording “Iron Man,” and now we get the delightfully ridiculous official video for “Bohemian Rhapsody.” In it, a young couple is laying in a field and wonders if there’s life on other planets, then they apparently start tripping balls, because Shatner’s face appears in the sky and sings the Queen classic to them, complete with animated constellations and lyrics. Check it out below.

Seeking Major Tom” came out last week on Cleopatra Records.
