Balam Acab reworks Charli XCX’s “Nuclear Seasons.” Have a listen.
Balam Acab has been a favorite here at Death and Taxes for this particular author. He’s original and remix work is always welcome.
What we have here is a Balam Acab remix of Charli XCX‘s “Nuclear Seasons,” the much ballyhooed blogstress of Hackney’s breakout song. The remix has the unmistakable Balam Acab feel, which takes the standard bedroom synthpop quality of Charli’s music and relieves it of its cold, clinical and DOA sound.
It seems that submerging much-hyped female indie artists in his cocoon of Burial-influenced sound is Balam Acab’s spécialité. (See: Balam Acab’s Lana Del Rey remix.)
