Jenny Slate, Dean Fleischer-Camp and Marcel the Shell With Shoes On sit down with Brian Williams.
2012 was a great year for Marcel the Shell With Shoes On. He (or she?) went to Sundance, earned almost 14.5 million YouTube views and counting, got a second video and became the first talking shell with a pet ball of lint to get a book deal. It’s hard to top all that.
But an interview with Brian Williams certainly doesn’t hurt. On Monday on NBC’s ‘Rock Center’ Brian Williams interviewed Jenny Slate and Dean Fleischer-Camp, creators of the stop-motion video of the tiny shell with one eye and two pink shoes. He also exchanged a few words with Marcel himself (or herself), whose quick wit and cute little voice translate very well for a news interview.
Now he just needs a TV show. Watch below.
