If you’re anything like me, you’re at work this week, but not actually “at work.” It’s December 20th—vacation is within spitting distance, and after two weekends of boozy holiday functions, tedious family planning and running your debit card like it’s in preseason NFL training, there’s not much left mentally or even physically to contribute at work.
That’s why I recommend watching any or all of Funny or Die‘s “Drunk History” series to tune out work for five or six minutes at a time this week. If you take me up on this, you’d do well to start with the “Drunk History” Christmas edition starring Ryan Gosling.
