Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein have been touring the country with their hilarious sketch show “Portlandia,” and their shows have already proven to be varied and unpredictable, bringing out different artists at every stop. Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent, dropped by the Bowery Ballroom gig on Saturday night. She busted out a cover of Pearl Jam’s “Black,” which is a lot sweeter and softer than the original, but still sounds heartfelt.
The video isn’t the greatest quality, but you can hear the song really well (until it cuts off the last few seconds), along with Clark practically begging the audience to participate.
