The Horrors are a band that has sort of coasted by since their 2007 debut album, “Strange House.” What made them an interesting alternate to the ’00s overflow of ’80s loving artists was that they upped the influences that their contemporaries were mostly shying away from, which was goth, and no wave, probably best exemplified on their single, “Sheena is a Parasite.”
Now three albums into their career with “Skying” having been released last summer, the band seem to have shifted into Psychedelic Furs territory as can be heard in their performance of “I Can See Through You” on “Last Call with Carson Daly,” which finds singer Faris Badwan doing his best Richard Butler impression.
