Louis C.K. awkwardly returns to ‘Parks and Recreation’ (video)

NBC may be the laughing stock of network television, and even the target of ridicule amongst its own sitcoms (cough, “30 Rock,” cough), but there is no denying the incredible success of “Parks and Recreation.” It may not be a rating titan like “Two and a Half Men,” but “Parks and Rec” is easily the most consistently hilarious series on television. Just as “The Office” has settled into its inevitable post-Steve Carrell slide, the similarly structured “Parks and Rec” has really hit its stride. Every plot line appears to be clicking, from the relationship between Leslie and Ben to the current campaign arc.

Now, the funniest show on television will be getting even funnier this Thursday as comedian Louis C.K. returns to NBC’s “Parks and Recreation.” The hot as a pistol stand-up comic will reprise his role as officer Dave Sanderson, the awkward, yet endearing former love interest of Leslie Knope.

The highly anticipated episode will air this Thursday at 8:30 EST, but if you can’t wait, check out a sneak peek of Dave out to dinner with Lesile and Ben (who obviously doesn’t seem to know their past).
