Photos from The Flaming Lips’ ‘Soft Bulletin’ bacchanalia last night

The Flaming Lips kicked off the 20th anniversary of San Francisco’s Noise Pop festival last night with a performance of the 1999 album “The Soft Bulletin” at Bimbo’s 365. It was an intimate show, limited to 500 people. Death and Taxes contributor Aaron Frank was one of them, and was on hand to capture what can only be described as a music explosion.
