Mike Stone was so damn close. His relentless pestering of the entire adult film industry finally yielded results. Megan Piper, star of “Fuck My Mom and Me 17,” found his prom request to be “cute” and agreed to go as his date if he could finance her $400 plane ticket. After begging his Twitter followers for contributions, a travel agency stepped up to take care of Piper’s airfare.
Stone’s dream was about to become a reality. He landed a 19-year-old porn star as a date, and she was genuinely excited to go because she was unable to attend her own senior prom. The stars were aligned, then the publicity caught up to him, and he was asked to make a dreaded trip to the principal’s office.
On Tuesday, a woman who runs a community website in Oakdale, Minn., discovered Stone’s Twitter profile and reported him to the principal at Tartan High School. The senior was called in for a meeting shortly after.
“He was saying that it’s not a good thing to do that,” Stone told the Daily Dot later that afternoon. “I said, ‘I was just doing it to see what actually happened.’
“He said I’m not in trouble but said I should get out of that stuff. He told me not to get into any more drama like this.”But the drama didn’t stop there.
According to Stone, the principal also called his parents, who had no idea he was tweeting at porn stars like Bree Olson.
“She’s really mad about it,” Stone said after speaking with his mother. “She’s saying I embarrassed them now.”
There was an interesting catch-22 with Stone’s plan of action. He needed publicity and attention to gain the public support he needed for someone to say yes. It was only a matter of time before the school administrators found out about Mike Stone’s recent Twitter exploits.
Now, not only are his dreams crushed, but his parents think he’s an embarrassment, and most importantly he’s without a prom date. However, something tells me he’s going to be telling the story about how he almost took a porn star to prom for a long time.
