The pilot to the new show “Don’t Trust The B– in Number 23″ is surprisingly stellar, with a very droll take on the roommate-comedy-starring-a-sassy-brunette-with-bangs genre that has sprouted up out of nowhere this television season. This makes “Two Broke Girls” look like “Happy Days.” Krysten Ritter charms/offends and comes across something terrible as the roommate from hell who knows just how to give someone a life lesson by pissing them off. James Van Der Beek has an excellent role as an exaggeration of himself – still living off “Dawnson’s Creek” infamy.
