Road rage: woman charged with tossing coffee through another car’s partially opened window

Road rage has always seemed like something involuntary that happens to people whose parents had road rage, and whose parents’ parents had road rage before them. The effects are Hulk-like. One cut-off or sudden stop and an otherwise relaxed, good-natured person transforms into red-faced, white-knuckled Hulkamaniac, shouting swears and shooting middle fingers at frightened strangers on the freeway. It’s scary.

But it’s even scarier when the person with the road rage has good aim.

According to CBS Albany, a woman in the left lane of Interstate 90 in midstate New York became incensed Saturday when the car behind her was following too close. To retaliate she tossed a cup of coffee at the other vehicle with such good aim (or luck, perhaps) that it entered through the other car’s partially opened window.

The thrower, 32-year-old Danielle Barker of Guilderland, who was a passenger, has been charged with criminal mischief and harassment. The other woman is being charged with following too close.

Hate to say it….but if you get your slowness out of the fast lane, no problems. At the same time I don't tailgate…it's stupid
