Simian Mobile Disco‘s brilliant single “Cerulean” gets a music video—it’s an animated film which follows the path of a small yellow sphere moving through and interacting with a variety of colorful geometric fields, lines and shapes. The look is rather simple, but it’s completely entrancing in its complexity and hypnotic rhythm—a perfect marriage to SMD’s percolating, synaesthetic keyboards and steady beat.

The video was designed, directed and animated by Jack Featherstone and Will Samuel, for ISO studio.

The duo’s latest LP “Unpatterns” is due out May 15th. Watch the video below.
