Pope Benedict wrapped up a trip to Cuba this week with a conversation with Fidel Castro yesterday. Castro surprised the news media—and probably Benedict himself—by asking, So what the hell do you do, anyway?

Seriously. “What does a pope do?” Castro asked. The Pope obliged with a vague answer about his ministry, his churchy duties, his international travel.

But then today we came across this picture on Facebook and started to wonder: Maybe the Pope actually hangs around all day manipulating the dark side of the Force? I always thought that “peace be with you” line from church sounded too close to “may the force be with you” to be a coincidence. Photoshopped or not, consider us sufficiently freaked out.
