Yikes. Not gross exactly, but wow. Bold move, Burger King. No one’s going to accuse you of copying McDonald’s on this one.
We haven’t tried the bacon sundae; BK is currently only testing it at a few locations in Nashville. But we are intrigued. Based on sweet and savory combos like fries dipped in Frosties and bacon chocolate bars, and the genuinely appetizing images above (one of which is the item itself), we think it could be goodish. Not great—nothing at Burger King is great—but solidly goodish.
If they expand to NY, we’ll try one and let you know.
