Anyone who has had a chance to see Radiohead play on their most recent tour or caught a glimpse of them on “From the Basement” or “Colbert Report” knows that every song off their latest record, “The King of Limbs,” sounds a million times better live. While the record was very introverted and difficult to sink into, watching the band interlocking with the help of second drummer Clive Deamer shows the full breadth and scope of the material.
This high def footage of the band playing at Austin City Limits is a testament to that which will hopefully contain a full, hearty set from the group when the entire episode airs, which unfortunately won’t be until the fall. Get with it PBS!
