Chairlift has been releasing a series of live, alternate versions of songs produced independently by the band from their latest LP “Something.” The latest, “Met Before-Auditorium,” features vocalist Caroline Polachek singing with an all-female a capella choir from various NYC bands and Patrick Wimberly on bass.
The song’s original music video featured a choose-your-own-adventure format. This video, on the other hand, is shot with gauzy, blown-out effects at New York University. The result is a very self-conscious, arty public-access aesthetic.
