Celebrate Brooklyn! is every music-loving New Yorker’s favorite (semi) free concert series. This year it starts off on June 5 with reggae legend Jimmy Cliff, and continues throughout the summer with free shows by Wild Flag, Ghostface Killah, Laura Marling, and many other bands and festivities including a sing-along to “The Muppet Movie.”

There will also be some benefit concerts — these cost money, but the lineup seems worth it. Childish Gambino, Dirty Projectors, Hot Chip, Wilco, Sigur Rós, and M.Ward are all slated for shows at Prospect Park Bandshell for nights that will contain multiple performers.
