Glitter. Blood. Vanilla icing (we hope). If you’ve ever wanted to see each of these things filling a bath tub and being rubbed, slapped and slathered all over Erykah Badu‘s sister’s naked body, have we got the video for you!
The Flaming Lips and Erykah Badu came together for a slow-motion and very sensual video for their collaborative cover of “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face.” The song can be found on the Flaming Lips’ recent record store day release “The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends,” which includes collabs with artists from Biz Markie to Ke$sha. It’s set for CD/digital release on June 26.
Directed by George Salisbury, the video features Badu’s beautiful and fully naked younger sister Nayrok cavorting about in bathtubs full of glitter, then blood, then…vanilla frosting, we’re gonna say. I’d like to say my mind isn’t in the gutter, but I just watched a video of a naked woman covered in glitter. Gimme a break.
