Campaign spokesman Jay Townsend works for Republican Nan Hayworth, but not for much longer, probably! The classy individual took to an otherwise normal Facebook page for the Ny19 House Of Representatives and called for acid to be hurled on female demonstrators.

The comment is still on the page, which you can view here. Of course, this is just another day in the life of sad-bastard Republican wonks who traded long ago the ability to discern between “a thing to say in public” and “a thing to absolutely not say in public.” It should come as no surprise that this sassy-mugged dandy pictured above would call for acid to be thrown on women.
So there’s that.

Just as interesting is the diatribe that Townsend writes a few entries lower on the page where he states "… as an official and paid employee of the Hayworth Re-Election Campaign, please refrain from calling our members names. If you keep that up, I will have to remove you from the page. Also, I can't believe Congresswoman Hayworth would want you posting such un-referenced nonsense…"
Townsend operates his own website – http://jaytownsend.com/ – that claims to be a political training tool designed to "help conservative candidates gain a political edge."
