Kanye West goes HAM on audience member with laser pointer

The Throne, better known as Jay-Z and Kanye West, have been known to do “Niggas in Paris” a lot in concert…on the same night that is. In a continuous marathon run that seemed to want to one-up itself on a nightly basis back last fall, Jay and ‘Ye topped out at 11 renditions of the “Watch the Throne” club favorite, a feat they are still equaling now. They treated the song’s titular city to another hearty 11 plays of the song this past weekend when they played there, but apparently when they veered from the formula to play Kanye’s “Graduation” single “Flashing Lights,” one audience member perhaps wanted to make it clear that he came for “Niggas in Paris” only.

When the duo launched into the intro for “Flashing Lights,” West became immediately put-off and irritated by the antics of one audience member who apparently is a high school freshman that time-traveled to the show from 1998. One green beam from a laser pointer was all ‘Ye needed to be thrown off his game, saying to the audience member, “Don’t fuck with the lasers back there…it’s fucking with everybody’s show, chill!” The incident actually made him stop the song, yelling “You see this guy here with the green laser? Don’t fuck up everybody’s show…This is The Throne, we don’t fuck around like that. You’re gonna get fucked up and kicked out and all that shit, so chill the fuck out.”

If only my 8th grade teacher was as straight and to the point as that, we may have actually been able to learn algebra. Check out laser-gate below as well as a clip from the “Puerto Rican Day Parade” episode of “Seinfeld” where George is also victimized by the wrath of a laser pointer.
