Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music dropped this on their blog late last night – a frankly jaw-droppingly well shot new video for designer Jalil Peraza featuring D&T favorite XXYYXX‘s tripped-out track “About You.” They’ve retitled it “Beauty Trapped In The Dark” and XXYYXX’s name isn’t anywhere near the video (what gives, man? Give the guy some credit.) The new video, though, is outstanding. As equally trippy as the song – it looks like video directors are finally matching up their visuals to the fuzzed out new R&B sounds of the likes of Jamie xx, and Jai Paul.

Jalil is currently on tour with Kanye West and Jay-Z for their mammoth “Watch The Throne” tour. No word on whether Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music will be working more with XXYYXX – one can only hope – but for now, here’s the video.
