Randy Baumgardner has perhaps one of the best mustaches in the entire political system. That is the first thing you should know about him. That ‘stache is majestic, flowing, and free – just like this great nation of ours. He might as well just have an American flag under his nose, or perhaps an eagle.

The second thing you should know about him is that he runs on a highly moralistic platform and is heavily against gay marriage, also, you should remember the word “moral!” in this sentence before you read the next. The third thing you should know is that he is allegedly harboring an unregistered sex offender in his home.

It’s a veritable “Walker Texas Ranger” plot line!

It appears Baumgardner’s moral standards aren’t exactly the solid ground that he’s been crusading against gay rights on – according to KDVR in Denver, the sex offender had a relationship with a 12 year old when he was 22. And while drawing attention to this might be shaming small-town politicians from afar, it’s so odd how much of the right wing takes a “moral” stance on things when their own morals are so fucked up. It appears Randy Baumgardner doesn’t particularly seem to have a leg to stand on as a lawmaker.

Still, we have to admit Randy has one of the best mustaches in the entire world, forever and ever, amen. Let’s take one last look at that sweet, sweet ‘stache, shall we?
