Piggy, a mischievous 6-month old Yorkshire piglet in Pacaso county Florida, got into a little trouble this week.
After squeezing out of his pen, Piggy waddled up the street and into neighbor Shannon Shafer’s yard. Shafer, recognizing it must be someone’s pet, took it inside for safe keeping. But later that day when Shafer went out a pignapper, who had been collecting scrap metal in her yard, opened the window, “reached in and snatched him,” according to BayNews9. He then sold the pig to an unknown pig-buyer for $40.
What a day!
Thankfully, it didn’t take long for the police to find the pignapper and bring Piggy back to its rightful owner, where it now resides.
The pignapper was arrested and charged with burglary.
