John Maus, who last year released the fantastic “We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves,” is set to release an album of rarities titled “A Collection of Rarities and Previously Unreleased Material.” To tease this release, Maus has released the track “Bennington,” which is very much in his usual, lo-fi ’80s New Wave stylings with his distant voice and swooning synth pads.
