Donald Glover has announced he’ll release his next Childish Gambino mixtape on July 4. In what sounds like an apparent nod to “Watch the Throne,” the new mixtape is called “Royalty.” While he may not have exactly earned that mantle, we like what we’ve heard of some the new batch of songs. This latest one “One Up” isn’t our favorite, but Glover is releasing so many new tracks these days he’s like that saying about the weather in New England—if you don’t like it, wait a minute.

Pigeons and Planes points out the first verse on this one is by Donald’s brother, Stephen G. Lover.
