WHY? is back with a self-titled single from their new record “Sod in the Seed.”
“Sod” is WHY?’s first new material since 2009′s “Eskimo Snow,” a gorgeous, plodding record. Stereogum asked Yoni Wolf if the new record would be similar in sound to “Eskimo,” to which Wolf said, “It’s more wordy than Eskimo I would say,” by which he meant he is back to rapping.
Take a listen to the new single below, an upbeat tune that blends in Wolf’s signature rapping style. “Sod in the Seed” is out August 13.
