Dubstep artist (and noted Corey Feldman lookalike) Skrillex is keeping busy with a tour, a haircut, and now the soundtrack to the new Harmony Korine movie “Spring Breakers,” set to open in 2013.
The movie stars James Franco as a white rapper based on real life white rapper Riff Raff (reports from Franco deny this claim, although to be honest Riff Raff is a goddam artisté so I’m assuming Franco is just too chicken-shit to ‘fess up). You can read a full article on the movie right here on D&T.
Harmony Korine’s previous movies have been soundtracked by the likes of sad-bastard heros Folk Implosion and the pleasant warblings of the Sun City Girls. Needless to say, the choice of wubwubwubwubwubwubwubwub master Skrillex leaves a lot to the imagination.
