The duo of Peter & The Magician features French producer Yuksek and Belgian producer The Magician (former member of Aeroplane known for remixing Lykke Li’s “I Follow The River”). With the single “Memory,” the pair have crafted a perfectly-imagined bit of Italo Disco glory that also seems to occupy a region of the post-”Drive” soundtrack aesthetic that is still working its way through various music scenes.

The single, released on Kitsune, also features remixes by Le Crayon, NSFW and POINDEXTER. Le Crayon’s mix is very Chromeo-esque, while NSFW opts for a more minimal Chicago House approach. POINDEXTER, on the other hand, goes for a more hypnotic, summery remix without losing the Italo Disco DNA at the heart of the song.
