Whoa. Unlike some of our peers, we’ve been digging what Donald Glover has been doing with Childish Gambino for a while. His new mixtape “Royalty,” which he released July 4 as promised, has some awesome surprises: Appearances from RZA, Ghostface Killah, and Beck producing and rapping again like in the “Loser” days. There’s even a (somewhat embarrassing) Tina Fey cameo at the end.

The best tracks we’ve heard lately (like “We Ain’t Them“) are here and the weaker ones (like “Fuck Your Blog”) aren’t, and there are some new gems like “RIP” featuring Bun B, with a sample from Kavinsky’s “Nightcall.” Stream it below and download it here.
