M83‘s latest album “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming” may inspire you to do a lot of things. Its uplifting songs and dreamy landscapes might make you want to reach out to an old friend, win back the girl of your dreams, or perhaps just run a marathon Forest Gump-styley.

Well if you choose to do the latter, maybe you should do so in these sweet “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming”-inspired shoes. And after you get that out of your system, take that inspiration a little further by designing a poster for the band as well.

In a contest sponsored by Converse/Nike, you can enter in a painting, drawing or photograph that’s inspired by M83′s recent magnum opus. The winner’s design will be made into a poster, 100 of which will be sold at M83′s August 8 concert at Central Park. The winner will also get a pair of those nice kicks up there.
