Newly minted bisexual Frank Ocean sure has something to say about… HDTV’s and having a sweet life. I mean, with all the attention heaped upon his sexuality you think he’d be singing about dicks and buttholes and shopping at Trader Joes with his life partner, music fans, but no (I can dream, can’t I?) Instead he opts for a very Neptunes-y sounding Stevie Wonder homage. Vocally, it’s an arresting track – there’s no question that Frank Ocean is – along with The Weeknd and a small handful of other contemporaries – the front line of a new sound in hip hop. Since his recent coming-out he’s received a lot of attention; it’s good to see some real talent behind all the hype.
