6 year old self-taught drummer gives Dave Grohl a run for his money on Foo Fighters track
A little guy named Jaxon Smith, all of 6 years old, is a self-taught drummer. His father videotaped him rocking out to a Foo Fighters track, “Pretender.” Hopefully the kid quickly graduates to some better music with great drumming—The Who, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, King Crimson, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.

Awesome kid. Could do without the article author insulting Foo Fighters and referencing Dave Grohl though. Taylor Hawkins is the drummer for Foo Fighters, not Grohl.. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

I sincerely hope the author was not implying Grohl was the Foos drummer. I think he was just joking since Grohl is most known for his drumming? However, when this kid starts playing Grohl's chops off of Songs for the Deaf, then we'll talk "run for his money". Foos drumming is too rudimentary albeit, "good".
