Tomas Barfod, drummer for WhoMadeWho, just recently released his LP “Salton Sea” on Friends of Friends. Now he has a follow-up to the “November Skies” music video. Directed by Lindsay MacKay, the “Came to Party” video, which seems to have been filmed in Los Angeles, has a lot of booty shaking and other forms of odd dancing. It fits well within Barford’s hip-hop-influenced track.
Also included is a remix of the track by Salva, which ditches the hip-hop aesthetic for a retro electro vibe. The remix is part of the “Came to Party” 12″ single release, which also includes previously unreleased Barfod track “Hyperion,” as well remixes from Mark E and Suzanne Kraft.
