As if the people of Walmart were not funny enough, recently a man in Houma, Louisiana learned the hard way that taking one of Walmart’s scooters for a joy ride while drunk is not a good idea. 24-year-old Thomas J. Phillip was pulled over for joy riding in the street, which leads us to ask the question, how fast can you even get one of those things going?
I don’t know about you, but no matter how bored I am, stealing a Walmart scooter falls pretty far down on the list of things I would do for excitement. Imagine having to go into court and defend the fact that you stole slow scooters for handicapped people and got a DWI?
So there you go guys, there is your PSA for the week—don’t be drunk on scooters.
