TMZ reports that A$AP Rocky was arrested last night for assaulting two photographers trying to take a picture in downtown Manhattan. Rocky was apparently already in a dispute when fans showed up trying to snap some shots.

While the two amateur photographers sustained cuts and bruises, more than enough to land Rocky in the slammer overnight, he was apparently booked for attempted robbery. Perhaps that’s what the original dispute was over? But why would a guy with a multi-million dollar record deal with RCA still be breaking and entering after achieving fame and fortune?

A$AP as you know has had some history in brawling that we know of — with his entire mob unloading fists on his audience at SXSW last March. That fight was over a stolen bandana. Perhaps A$AP was robbing a bandana store?! We’ll have more details as they develop but check out the video for “Goldie” in the meantime.
