Jessica Redfield – born Jessica Ghawi – was a young, aspiring sportscaster and was fatally wounded by a bullet to the brain after James Holmes burst into theater 9 in an Aurora, CO multiplex and opened fire. He shot 71 people in total, 12 of them died.
We’ve also obtained some YouTube footage of Jessica interviewing hockey players as part of her internship at a local TV station.
