Snoop Dogg, who used to be Snoop Doggy Dogg if you can remember back far enough, is about to reincarnate as a lion: Pitchfork reports Snoop will release a new record, “Reincarnated,” under the moniker Snoop Lion.
And you know what? We can’t blame the dude. He’s worked like a Dogg for years—it’s about time he kicked back. Seriously—male lions sleep up to 20 hours a day. That’s living. Snoop announced his new Snoop Lion mode over Twitter, of course: “sendin the positive vibes all around!!! jahh!!! rastafari!!!
