We’re partial the mixtape Childish Gambino released on July 4, “Royalty,” over the full-length LP “Camp” he released last year. The production is a little more gritty and interesting and “Camp” can sound at times, well, campy.

In keeping with the record’s sound, Childish Gambino releases a video today for “Camp” single “Fire Fly.” It’s a sort-of cheesy, sci-fi gangster narrative about a dude confronting a bad guy, getting beaten up, and then taking off in very small rocket ship (or time machine—it’s hard to tell.)
