There’s something hilarious about seeing an ad for the Olympics right before this new Liars video for “Brats,” which is exactly what happened to me. Not only does Liars’ music sound intrinsically anti-establishment, but the new video unfolds a trippy scene in which an Elmer Fud character shoots at a rabbit in an all-white snowy background, like some kind of subversive, alternate-world Biathlon.
