“Skyfall” is to be released in October in IMAX and of course the less fancy regular-normal-people movie theaters. It stars Javier Bardem as the villain, has a brand new actor (“Layer Cake”‘s Ben Whislaw) and has Ben Whishaw portraying long-time weapons/gadgets expert Q. Desmond Llewelyn had previously played Q since the late 60s and died in a car crash in the late 90s. This is the first new Q since Monty Python’s John Cleese picked up the role for two movies in the early 2000s. Yes, my knowledge of the Bond series is obnoxiously obsessive. Did you know that megastar designer Tom Ford will be providing the suits for the movie?
