Kids pick up their parents' points of view from hearing their parents talking with other adults. When you drill it into them, you will either completely indoctrinate them or (if they're intelligent and get exposed to other viewpoints) drive them to the opposite side of the spectrum for a little while before (with luck) they settle down into being fairly moderate once they mature and experience a little more. He's not old enough to know what they're doing to him now, but if he realizes it when he gets older he'll get angry enough to stop listening to them and then he'll figure out what he thinks for himself.
If the kid is smart, there's still hope for him. Conservative parents make moderate (sometimes liberal) children
