Banksy has unveiled a piece of satirical London Olympics street art that features a javelin thrower poised to launch a tactical missile. According to Banky’s spokesperson the work is titled “Hackney welcomes the Olympics.” The spokesperson also stated the piece appears in the real world but would not say where.

The symbolism of the art is pretty straightforward. If one doesn’t get it at first, just keep thinking about it.

It’s worth noting that several pieces of street art have been removed by London authorities acting as thought police, with one artist named James Cochran stating, “Beijing was more open-minded.”
